Williamson volleyball fights back to down Hornets in 4

The Williamson Warriors bounced back from a game 1 loss to defeat Wellsboro in 4 games. After the Hornets won the first game 25-17, Williamson took control of the match and won the next 3 straight games 25-23, 25-20, and 25-15. Junior Mackenzie Marple led the Hornets with 17 assists and Sophomore Kaelyn Keane added 5 blocks. Junior Hannah Zuchowski contributed 23 kills, 11 service points with 5 aces, and 13 digs. Senior Erika Wilson also added 12 digs on the night.

In JV action, Wellsboro fell to Williamson in straight games, 25-22 and 25-22. With the losses, the varsity team falls to 6-5 overall and 5-4 in the NTL and the JV squad is now 9-2. The Hornets will be back in action next Tuesday night, October 11 as they travel to Troy to take on the Trojans.
