Hornet Volleyball sweeps CV

The Wellsboro Varsity volleyball team swept Cowanesuqe in three games Tuesday night to remain undefeated. The Hornets beat CV 25-15, 25-16, 25-21.
Senior Hannah Zuchowski had 18 kills, 13 points, and 11 digs and Senior Mackenzie Marple had 16 assists, seven kills and six points.
In JV action, the Hornets beat Cowanesque 2-1 to pick up their third win of the season.
With the win, the Hornets improve to 3-0 in the regular season (2-0 NTL West). The team will be back in action on Saturday, September 15 as they travel to Troy.
