MS Volleyball nets undefeated regular season

The Wellsboro Middle School volleyball team capped an undfeated regular season as they defeated Canton in two sets last night.
The team won the first set 25-21 and took the second 25-18 to win the match. 8th grader Kaeli Butters recorded 14 good serves and 3 spikes, while 7th grader Brianna Keane had 37 sets and 4 dinks. 8th grader Kirsten Florio also contributed 11 spikes for the Hornets.
In the B Team game, the Hornets won 2-1 (25-20, 25-27, 15-12). With the win, the Hornets finished the 2012 regular season with a perfect 13-0 record. The team will finish their season this Saturday, October 20 at the Williamson Tournament.
