Wellsboro volleyball downs Mansfield

The Wellsboro Varsity volleyball team beat rival Mansfield last night 3-2.
The Hornets took the first game 25-21. Mansfield won games two and three 25-23 and 25-16 before Wellsboro rallied back to take games four and five to claim the victory.
Senior Hannah Zuchowski had 28 kills, 5 points, and 17 digs. Senior Makenzie Marple had 20 assists, 11 points, and 8 kills, and Junior Kaelyn Keane had 6 points, 5 blocks, and 8 kills.
The team will be back in action on Tuesday, September 11 as they travel to Cowanesque.
