The Wellsboro Middle School Volleyball team defeated Cowanesque Valley in two games on Wednesday, September 10.
The A team won the first game 25-5 and the second 25-21 to claim the victory. Heidi Zuchowski led the Lady Hornets with 8 spikes and a kill, Ryann Adams had 1 spike and 1 kill, Hailey Neal had 2 spikes, and Haley Widows had 1 kill.
In the B game, Wellsboro lost both games, 23-25 and 25-27.
With the win, the A team improves to 2-1. The team will be back in action on Saturday, September 13 as they travel to Towanda.
