The Wellsboro Middle School Volleyball team rebounded after their first loss to beat Cowanesque Valley 2-0 on Wednesday, September 23.
The A-Team won 25-13 and 25-10. Ryann Adams (9), Cathryn Brought (9), and Megan Starkweather (13) led the team in serves. Brought (7) led the team setting, with several other players contributing as well. Morgan Stone (3), Ryann Adams (2), and Megan Starkweather (2) all did well hitting the ball.
"Everyone received well and had great passes to the setter," said head coach Jen Outman. "It was a definite improvement over last game."
The B-Team lost in two sets, 25-22 and 25-22.
The win improves the 4-1. The team will be back in action on Saturday, September 26 as they travel to Wyalusing.
