Volleyball team downs Coudy in three

The Wellsboro Varsity Volleyball team picked up their fourth straight victory as they beat Coudersport 3-0 on Monday, October 5.
The Lady Hornets won the first set 25-22, won the second 25-21, and won the third 25-22. Junior Morgan Florio has 15 assists and 15 points with an ace, senior Darci Warriner had 5 kills and 9 digs, senior Haley Zuchowski scored 10 points (2 aces) and recorded 11 digs, and senior Mikayla Feil had 4 kills, 6 points, and an ace.
Senior Maddy Kyle had 5 assists, senior Hannah Wagaman made 11 digs, and junior Kirsten Florio had 9 kills and 5 blocks.
Coudersport won 2-0 (25-14, 25-14) in the JV game.
With the win, the Lady Hornets improve to 10-1 (5-1 NTL Division 1). The team will be back in action today as they travel to Cowanesque Valley.
