Lady Hornets sweep Williamson

The Wellsboro Varsity Volleyball team swept Williamson 3-0 to improve to 2-0 on Tuesday, September 15.
The Lady Hornets won the first two sets 25-17 then fended off a strong third set by Wiliamson, winning 26-24.
Junior Jordan Judlin made 15 assists, senior Bailey Monks had 11 kills, 9 points (5 aces), and 3 blocks, senior Breighanna Kemp had 11 assists, 8 points, and 3 aces, senior Kathryn Burnett made 16 digs, senior Shiloh Duff had 9 kills and a block, and junior Emma Owlett finished with 7 kills, 7 points, and an ace.
Williamson won the JV match 2-0 (25-22, 25-19) to drop Wellsboro to 0-2.
The win in the Varsity game improves the Lady Hornets to 2-0 (2-0 NTL). The team will be back in action on Thursday, September 17 against Troy.
