Junior High Lady Hornets victorious over Athens in season opener

The Wellsboro Junior High Volleyball team started the season off with a 2-1 win over Athens on Saturday, September 3.
The young Lady Hornets won the first game 25-20, lost the second 25-21, and rebounded to take the third, 15-8 in the A game.
In the B game Wellsboro fell 2-1. Wellsboro won the first game 25-19 then fell 25-13 and 15-10.
The team is back in action tomorrow at home against Cowanesque Valley.
