Lady Hornets Fall To Troy On The Road

The Wellsboro Varsity Volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss to snap a three-game win streak to Troy on Tuesday, September 12.
Troy took the first set 25-16, won the second 25-18, and closed out the match winning 25-13 in the third set.
Senior Lexi Urena led the Lady Hornets with 6 points and 8 kills, junior Meredith Brownlee, sophomore Taylor Main and freshman Ellie Largey all scored 5 points each, and senior Natalie Cleveland added 2 points and 6 digs. Main pitched in 8 assists and 5 digs and freshman Blake Eckart had 3 kills and an assist.
Wellsboro won the JV game 2-0.
Wellsboro hosts Towanda on Thursday, September 14.
