Lady Hornets Swept By Coudersport

Coudersport swept the Wellsboro Varsity Volleyball team in non-league action on Saturday, September 16.
The Lady Falcons took the first two sets 25-21 then won the third 25-15.
Senior Meredith Brownlee led the Lady Hornets with 8 points, 2 aces, 4 kills and 3 digs. Sophomore Taylor Main also scored 8 points and recorded 2 aces on 14 service attempts and made 4 digs. Senior Natalie Cleveland had 4 points and 11 assists, junior Arianah Lawton scored 2 points and had 3 assists, and junior Lexi Urena had 3 kills and 3 digs.
Wellsboro won the JV game 2-1 (26-28, 25-12 & 15-8) to improve to 6-1.
The loss drops the Varsity team to 4-3 (3-2 NTL Large School Division). The team is back in action on Tuesday against Williamsport.
