Junior High Volleyball Team Falls To Williamsport

Wellsboro's Junior High Volleyball team was swept 2-0 at Williamsport on Thursday evening.
The young Lady Hornets dropped both sets in the A game, 25-17.
Nora Mickey led Wellsboro with 4 points while Reese Eckart and Rachel Weaver scored 3 points each. Weaver also added 4 digs and an assist while Eckart added 2 digs and a kill.
In the B game Williamsport won 25-9 and 25-19.
Leah Szentesy scored 6 points (2 aces) to lead the team while Ella Satalin had 3 points and an ace.
The young Lady Hornets (8-5) are back in action Tuesday evening at Towanda.
