Coaching Bio
Coach Zuchowski is in her 11th year as the head volleyball coach for the Hornets and in her 24th year overall in the Wellsboro program. Coach Zuchowski is a 1982 WHS alumni and played volleyball throughout junior and senior high school for the Hornets. She started coaching the Wellsboro Junior High volleyball team in 1984 and moved into the Junior Varsity position in 1989. At the end of the 1992 season, Coach Zuchowski married and moved to Charleston Air Force Base, South Carolina.
In 1996 Coach Zuchowski took over the varsity coaching position at HBS where she led the Lady Lions to five SCISAA State Championship Runner-Up Titles over the next eight years, as well as receiving the 1999 SCISAA-A Coach of the Year Award. She has also been a summer camp coach at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.
Coach Zuchowski moved back to Wellsboro in 2007 after her husband, Lewis retired from the Air Force.
